Deputy Sheriff

Ohio Peace Officer Training (OPOTA) Certificate Required. Applicants should be mature, responsible, well-organized individuals with the ability to communicate well with the public. Applicants must have a valid Ohio driver's license. Applicants should be prepared to submit documentation from a physician or psychologist that they are fit to perform the duties of a deputy sheriff, pass a drug screen, and a CVSA (Truth Verification Test). Applicants must complete an extensive personal background investigation and pass an oral interview. Schedule will include shift work, weekends, holidays and to be on call for emergencies. Starting salary is $20.11 per hour.

 

 
Corrections Officer

Applicants should be mature, responsible, well-organized individuals with the ability to communicate well with people. Applicants must have a valid Ohio driver's license. Applicants should be prepared to submit documentation from a physician or psychologist that they are fit to perform the duties of a corrections officer, pass a drug screen, and a CVSA (Truth Verification Test). Applicants must complete an extensive personal background investigation and pass an oral interview. New Employees will need to pass a Basic Corrections Academy within the first year of employment. Schedule will include shift work, weekends, holidays and to be on call for emergencies. Starting salary is $15.70 per hour.

 

 
Communications Dispatcher
 

Applicants should be mature, responsible, well-organized individuals with the ability to communicate well with the public. Applicants must have a valid Ohio driver's license. Applicants should be prepared to submit documentation from a physician or psychologist that they are fit to perform the duties of a communications dispatcher, pass a drug screen, and a CVSA (Truth Verification Test). Applicants must complete an extensive personal background investigation and pass an oral interview. Schedule will include shift work, weekends, holidays and to be on call for emergencies. Starting salary is $16.70 per hour.
