The Delaware County Sheriff's Office continually accepts
applications for employment. However the Sheriff's Office
is not currently hiring for any position within the Sheriff's
Office at this time.
The Sheriff's Office maintains submitted applications
on file for one year, from date received. During the course
of a year, if an open position becomes available, the
Sheriff's Office will correspond with applicants currently

need to pass a Basic Corrections Academy
within the first year of employment.
Schedule will include shift work,

for emergencies. Starting salary is
$16.25 per hour.
